NBA Western Conference final: Spurs take Game 4 to even the series at home
The top two teams in the west go up against each other in the conference final. The series is now tied 2-2

The 2025/2026 Western Conference Final between Oklahoma City Thunder and San Antonio Spurs is unarguably the best matchup we've had in years.
The first two seeds in the conference battling out on their way to the NBA Finals.
Defending Champions, OKC planning on being the first team to win the title back to back since Golden State Warriors in 2017 and 2018
Spurs on the other hand are a young and hungry team. Their front man, Victor Wembanyama has reached heights the league hasn't seen from a third year player in years. He came second in the MVP voting and he's out to prove why he should have been the MVP
Two teams with young players at their core. Shai Gilgeous Alexander who just wan back to back MVP leading his team against, The Alien who just became the first Unanimous Defensive Player of the year in NBA history.

The Equalizer
The San Antonio Spurs evened the Western Conference final at 2-2 with a 103-82 blowout win before heading back to Oklahoma City for Game 5
It was another night of defensive masterclass on display as Spurs held OKC to just 33% shooting, OKC's lowest scoring output and worst efficiency throughout the entire season.
Just hours after being named to his first career All-NBA First Team, Victor Wembanyama completely dominated the game, outplaying the Thunder's interior and hitting a logo three-pointer at the halftime buzzer to punctuate his night.

Ranking the Top 5 Point Guards of All Time
The point guard position has evolved from traditional floor generals like Magic Johnson and John Stockton who orchestrated offenses through passing to modern revolutionaries like Stephen Curry who've transformed the role into a scoring-first weapon.
Spurs Bench and OKC's injury
One of the most important element that propelled this win was the Spurs bench. In Game 3, the Spurs' bench was outscored 76-23 but Game 4 was different. Spurs reserves scored 30 points while also holding the Thunder reserves to 34 points
Another differential factor in Game 4 was the absence of Jalen Williams and Ajay Mitchell due to injuries. Williams playmaking ability was missed which made it more difficult for Shai Gilgeous Alexander to get buckets.
The series now heads to Oklahoma for Game 5
